Our client is a well established local company within the investments industry. They have operations through a few segments such as Hotel Management, Commercial/Residential Property etc. With steady growth, they are expanding their HR Team and is inviting a dynamic seasoned HR professional to join them in their business expansion.

about the job

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with the management team to develop and implement a HR strategy closely aligned to business needs. As the company is currently growing, you will be hands on implementing HR policies and developing the HR function. Your role will include but not limited to the following:

  • Provide the full spectrum of HR Operations functions such as staffing, recruitment activities, on boarding and off boarding, leave management, disciplinary and counselling, employee relation and other HR functions.
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process working closely to hiring manager to understand their hiring needs and hiring the right fit for the business
  • Develop HR policies and procedures such as performance management and link this to talent management
  • Provide HR business partnering to regional managers and advise on global mobility policies and procedures
  • Work closely with stakeholders in driving and ensuring smooth HR delivery
  • Implement employee engagement and make recommendations based on the results
  • Partner and work alongside regional counterparts to drive and be involved in relevant HR projects
  • Any ad-hoc HR duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance to overseas statutory provisions relating to hiring practices, through working with overseas HR counsels.
  • Administration of payroll matters relating to employees within the group as well as employees hired by operator/managing agent under oxley.
  • Ensure proper workplace insurance policy (employee-related) in place.

You will be reporting to the Genernal Manager and be managing a team of 1.

skills and experience required

  • 5+ years of experience within the field of Human Resources with experience on business partnering or leading a team.
  • Possesses a Bachelor Degree in HRM or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, independent and self-motivate with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Experience of developing or starting up a HR function which experience in developing and implement HR policies and procedures.
