about the job

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will undertake the role of a Senior HR Specialist, covering all matters pertaining to the day to day HR Ops on a regional platform in the APAC region. You will also be the main point of contact for internal mobility within the APAC region. You will get the opportunity to work on a regional platform, covering the SEA market under a centralised function in the SG office. Your scope will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day HR operations, providing top notch HR service delivery standard
  • Provide HR advisory to HRBPs, line managers and employees in the APAC regions on matters pertaining to recruitment, employee queries; policy interpretation, investigations and compliance
  • Responsible for work pass applications of new & existing employees
  • On & Off boarding of employees – entire employee life cycle
  • Support in recruitment coordination in the region as and when needed
  • HRIS maintenance
  • Internal employee communication
  • L&D support; administer training needs, sourcing of vendors, training evaluation etc.
  • Support the HRBPs in ensuring the day to day HR Ops are run smoothly at the BU level and partake in supporting any ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives
  • Other office admin as and when required; Organize employee events and activities for Singapore office, ensuring adequate office supplies etc.

skills and experience required

You will be degree/diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 3 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. Relevant experience within the retail or FMCG industry is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You will be someone who is able to multi-task and work well independently. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is meticulous with excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders and all the HRBPs around the APAC region that you will be supporting.
