My client is a market leader in its industry which delivers IT Solutions across more than 10 industries. Focusing on IT transformation, they are embarking on a program which is a strategic initiative globally across more than 35 countries with a reimplementation of SAP S/4 HANA ERP at its core.

They are hiring a permanent position of a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee PMO activities for this transformation program agenda. In this role, you will utilize your functional experience in finance, digital transformation, and program/project management to help ensure program success.


about the job

Reporting to the Business Transformation Lead, your role involves:

• Leading the program planning, setting the timeline and overseeing the delivery across nine program workstreams.
• Managing all phases of program including planning, integration, deployment, testing, cutover, training, and customer acceptance.
• Collaborating with workstream leads, workstream participants and program controller to develop integrated plans, manage and report on progress, evaluate risks / issues, follow-up on actions, and manage vendors - effectively manage day-to-day operations of the program to ensure overall delivery on time and on budget.
• Managing change control requests by consulting partners and working with the program controller to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and issues across the program that can impact timeline, budget or quality and developing mitigation actions.

skills and experience required

As a successful candidate, you should have:

• At least 10 years experience in delivering program management for global, IT and business transformations
• Experience in delivering program management for a SAP ERP implementation that enabled business transformation agendas
• At least 5 years’ experience in leadership with a preference in Finance would be advantageous but not a must-have
