About the job ...

You will be responsible for managing business finance and asset liability capital management activities, this includes

Managing Management Information under the new IFRS17 accounting standards
Looking at business performance analysis, forecasting, and planning
Presenting results and analysis, including variance analysis to senior management (Group, C-Suites, Exco members)
Managing post acquisition integration
Collaborating with local financial control, business, and central teams to enhance commercial insight and strengthen Management Information and cost control processes
Identifying and managing Capital, Liquidity, and Market Risks and ensures robust ALCM governance
Providing recommendations to local, group, and regional teams including C-suites

Skills and experience required
Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Actuarial Science with at least 10 years of business finance and asset liability capital management experience in the re/insurance industry. In order to succeed in this role, you should be hands-on, analytical, detail-oriented and possess strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
