• Lead and mentor a team of financial reporting professionals
• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support the development of financial plans and forecasts
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Provide insights and analysis that support business decisions
• Manage the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

Skills and experience required

• At least 10 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in the general insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
