Senior Network Engineer (LAN/WAN/Firewall)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to sit in their local office.

about the job

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance and control of the company’s network:

  • Perform scheduled configuration changes on network switches, routers, firewalls, load-balancer, proxy server and wireless devices
  • Manage IT projects and support infrastructure hardware and software technologies upgrades and system implementation
  • Perform network operations and management, including incident response, problem management, and change management
  • Supporting/troubleshooting and implementation of Cisco network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewall and etc)
  • Handling and ensuring network related service requests for are responded
  • Work with vendors and partners including escalation of support tickets.

You will report to the IT infrastructure manager. This is a permanent role with regular working hours.




skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Min 5 years working of relevant experience as a Network Engineer
  • Strong experience in Cisco network switches and routers and Firewalls
  • Solid experience in LAN and WAN troubleshooting skills and an understanding of network security
  • Experience in supporting SD-WAN is a plus
  • Good understanding of IP routing and switching technologies
  • CCNA/CCNP is a plus
