Our client is a leader in waste and water management as well as energy services. They are now looking for a Senior/Operations Manager to support the Downstream Operations Manager to manage their integrated chemical waste treatment facility.
about the job
- Provides supervision to ensure the chemical plant is operating as to maintain safety, environmental, and operational priorities at the optimum production level
- To ensure critical plant parameters are within the target and provide guidance for corrective actions
- To prepare and forecast plant production planning and communicate effectively with shift team leader
- Take measures to keep sufficient levels of reagents and consumables for daily plant operations
- To properly plan for equipment handover to maintenance
- To review and update operational work process update and review
- Assist in preparation and monitor monthly budgets for reagents, consumables and all other controllable operating expenses.
- To support report writing to management on plant performance and compliance
- To provide support to technical compliance, QHES and HR team related with operational training development
- Support the engineering department on plant improvement initiatives and capital project base
- Lead operational improvement initiatives, such as MOC implementation, design review, commissioning new facilities and lead Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR)
- To support any other activities and initiatives as delegated by Operation Manager
job requirement
- Degree in Chemical/Process Control/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical, refinery, power plant, waste to energy, or environmental process operations.
- Willing to work in the West (Tuas/Joo Koon/Pioneer)
