about the job
As a senior executive within the Fish & Seafood Processing department, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the production and distribution of Fish and Seafood. Your immediate focus will revolve around collaboratively driving the development and launch of the new organization and facilities. This effort will be conducted in close coordination with the Fresh Food Processing Director, the Head of CPU, and the Project Manager/Process Improvement Manager.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be entrusted with leadership duties related to the following aspects of daily operations:
- Ensuring employee safety and product quality.
- Managing training and skill development initiatives.
- Supervising shift schedules and operations.
- Tracking operational key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time fulfillment, yield/shrinkage, and unit transformation costs.
- Achieving financial targets, including profit and loss.
skills & experience required
If you fulfill the following criteria, you are encouraged to submit your application:
- Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or other related field with industry experience
- Diploma holders have extensive experience in similar roles, a proven track record of impact and a continuous drive to improve and learn) industry is preferred.
- Relevant work experience in food manufacturing, logistics/warehousing, operations management or other related positions
- Good understanding of operational and/or logistics management principles
- Good understanding of GMP, GHP and HACCP
- Good knowledge of the fresh category, especially seafood, is an advantage
- Experience in leading and/or overseeing production in F & B manufacturing plant preferred
- Experience in leading and/or overseeing planning, plant procurement order fulfilment / logistics is a plus
- Food processing experience will be an added advantage
- Experience implementing 5S, Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma
- Good working knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations
