Their products range from rolling stock, digital mobility solutions, services and signalling. Currently they are looking for a Senior/ Project Contracts Manager for a Rolling Stock project. Reporting to Head of Contracts Department or functionally reporting to Project Director/Manager, this candidate provides guidance and leadership to develop, implement, and drive proactive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies in accordance with company’s business objectives; including extensions of time (EoTs), variations orders, contract amendments.

Responsibilities:
- Drive and Manage works related to Contracts Management for the assigned project.
- Develop and produce any project specific processes and ways of working for contract/claim management
- Ensure application of Contract, Claim and Insurance and with company governance.
- Analyze, prepare the contract to build and drive the implementation of Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plan, as well as keep it updated with project team on quarterly basis.
- Contribute to Return of Experience
- Monitor/manage insurance policy and keep its validity in collaboration with Regional Insurance Manager. Keep the Regional Insurance Manager duly updated about all changes on the project that could represent any deviation from the current insurance policy
- Monitor customer/partner requests for variations / change orders / extensions of time. Provide follow-up, as necessary, to drive to transactional closure, including updates to the VO/VR/Delay registers, preparation of commercial offer, and prepare associated contractual letters for CD/PM approval
- Give creative advice on specific issues, risks, and contractual/claims activities, taking into account the contract and business objectives
- Ensure Contract management KPIs are reported as per reporting deadlines.
- Provide training on contract/claim management to key project stakeholders, including project management, finance, engineering, and sourcing communities
- Provide, at any time, upon management requests, a reliable and understandable contractual and commercial analysis of the project
- For contractual disputes, you need to prepare DAB files, referral notes along with substantial evidences and actively participate in the process before the adjudication board or similar board
- Support Legal team or external counsel for the relevant litigation process
- Train, develop, and share knowledge and expertise to the contracts team
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in the contracts management field with heavy construction projects experience or heavy machinery industry experience preferred.
- Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics, business sciences or other relevant field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Able to manage different stake holders.
