about the company

My client is one of the most established and reputable Investment Bank. They have a history of more than 80 years and has a strong presence in APAC with Singapore as their headquarter. They are currently expanding and you would now have the opportunity to join this exciting company as a Senior Project/Programme Manager


about the job

  • Plan, budget, monitor, assemble project resources and provide updates on the project.
  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
  • Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions.
  • Create schedule and project timeline with trackable deliverables.
  • Actively lead the team/squad in various project meetings i.e. SIT / UAT checkpoint calls, BRD walkthroughs, Solution Walkthroughs
  • Provide regular project/program updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate key insights and findings to IT and business counterparts and work closely with them. Lead knowledge sharing with the team for newly implemented modules or functionalities.
  • Ensure delivery is predictable i.e. stakeholder are updated regular on the progress and the risks



skills and experience required

  • Minimum 8+ years of IT experience in Project Management in running Waterfall/ Agile projects.
  • Preferred most of the experience in Investment/Private Banking functional domain
  • Preferred with Experience of working with large complex matrix team structures.
  • Good understanding of technology trends in banking is preferred
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of major projects, on time and with quality.
  • Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodology.
  • Prior experience in Private Banking domain / applications such as Compliance/CRM, Front office transformation
  • Domain expertise across Wealth Management would be preferred. Partner with other teams within the IT Organisation to establish / review procedures, standards, systems and processes that enhance the client support experience.
