about the job / manager
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Policy Officer. You will collaborate closely with the Deputy Director and Assistant Director for this position. You will assist the expansion of policies with sector research, possible lever identification, stakeholder engagement planning, and senior leadership recommendation writing. You will create, monitor, and assess worker outcomes in the specified sectors while advising on the most effective interventions and steps. You will also evaluate and pilot programs that assist, empower, and safeguard the relevant beneficiaries.
skills and experience required
- University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law, Communications or any other related fields
- Experienced policy advocate with relevant work and internship experience working in the public or people sector in policy, communications, community engagement or advocacy roles
- At least three years of experience in public policy, advocacy or research preferred
- Work experience in the public or people sector in policy, communications, community engagement or advocacy roles
