Our client is a product company with substantial funding. With the start of a greenfield product, they are currently hiring for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join their technical team. This will be the first QA hire, with opportunities to lead a team of QA software engineers after.

about the job

  • Lead the engineering team’s test coverage, release and production health
  • Plan, develop and execute test strategies across products and platforms
  • Build a quality engineering culture, and inspiring a QA mindset within team
  • Create and write automated tests in Javascript
  • Work with the software engineering and infrastructure teams to make use of automation for scalable solutions

skills & experience required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA test engineering experience
  • Hands-on in test planning, execution, performance testing and architecting of a test automation solution.
  • Experienced in fullstack QA with solid background in test automation, cloud native, test planning, etc.
  • Experienced in Javascript based test automation frameworks (Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, Cucumber.js etc)
  • Experienced in cloud native build, test and deploy in AWS
  • Knowledge of UI, API and mobile test automation is a strong plus
  • Passionate about building a quality QA culture in the team
