about the job
In this role, you are responsible for production scheduling, materials control and support inter-company procurement.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain production schedules for production runs based on product specifications, plant capacity, sales forecasts, and materials.
- Expedite operational plans to minimize delays and alter schedules to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
- Forecast and plan major component and material requirements to support product build plans
- Liaison between project management, customer service and operations on customer's special testing requirements to optimize plant capacity.
- Manages inventory of incoming materials, in-process and outgoing finished goods
- Track and follow up on WIP and missed shipments.
- Organize monthly discussions on engine prospects with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Purchasing.
- Maintain an ISO system for production scheduling activities.
skills & experience required

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Production Planning with at least 5-8 years of relevant experiences
- Knowledge of MRP/SAP system is advantageous
