• Build backend services for HTML5 and Unity games.
• Collaborate with engineers from different countries to brainstorm solutions and design resilient, highly scalable applications capable of handling heavy traffic with minimal downtime.
• Work closely with product owners, key users, artists, and the quality assurance team to ensure that deliverables meet expectations.
• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and provide guidance to other team members.
• Troubleshoot applications, conduct performance testing, and optimize services to enhance the user experience while minimizing resource consumption.

Skills and experience required
You will need min of 5 years of software engineering experience in web development, covering the full development lifecycle with at least 3 years of web development experience using Ruby on Rails.

• Proficiency in both NoSQL and SQL databases, including Mongo, Redis, and MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript.
• A comprehensive understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), RESTful architectures, and Design Patterns.
• A solid grasp of containerization frameworks like Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
• A good understanding of authentication frameworks and data communication protocols like webSockets, signalR, and Socket.IO.
• Proficiency in working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments or pipelines, including tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS, including IAM, EC2, Lambda, AWS RDS, Elasticsearch, and AWS CodeBuild.
