As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Training Development Manager on an initial contract basis to conceptualize and develop training programs locally and across the region.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director your role would includes
- One of the key responsibilities of this role is to delve into comprehensive market research. This involves identifying emerging training needs and pinpointing the specific demographics we need to target.
- The Training Manager will work closely with subject matter experts to craft training programs that are not only comprehensive but also up-to-date. These programs should cater to a diverse audience, offering tailored content for different expertise levels.
- The role requires the creation of course materials that are not only informative but also engaging. Using a variety of teaching methods and resources, the Training Manager will be responsible for enhancing the overall learning experience for our participants.
- The successful candidate will be expected to develop a comprehensive business plan. This plan should encompass marketing strategies, strategies for rolling out the training programs, and avenues for expanding these initiatives.
- You would be tasked with executing marketing campaigns, which may include digital marketing, social media outreach, email marketing, and building strategic partnerships.
- Cultivating relationships with potential clients, educational and research institutions, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders is a crucial aspect of this role.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the training materials and methods adhere to the highest standards of education and compliance.
- You will be expected to diligently track the progress of the training programs, participation rates, and outcomes. The insights gathered from this reporting will be used to enhance and refine these programs over time.
Skills and experience required
- Extensive background in developing training programs, instructional design, or a related capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of training methodologies and principles of adult learning. Demonstrated success in crafting curricula and instructional design.
- Seasoned in overseeing training centers, with P&L accountability and a history of elevating student recruitment and elevating educational programs from foundational to a premier standard.
