about the company

Our client is a SaaS enterprise software company, with presence in over 120 countries. Being a company that puts high importance on the ease of use of their products, they are prioritising the hire of a Senior UX designer.

This role would be an individual contributor role with mentoring of junior designers responsibilities. The individual reports into a Head of Design.

about the job

  • Influence the product direction and team decision based on design and research
  • Work closely with a team of designers, product managers and UI engineers to design products that are easy to use
  • Develop lo-fi and hi-fi mockups and prototypes to articulate interaction designs
  • Using feedback from internal stakeholders and customers, adjust the design/product functions
  • Using analytics tools, measure success, opportunities and support decision making

skills & experience required

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in interaction design, human factor, psychology, interaction design or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing complex enterprise products
  • Strong foundation in interaction design.
  • Experience with Figma essential
  • Knowledge of using Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 a strong bonus
  • Strong understanding of user centered design and testing methodologies
  • Experience in mentoring junior designers is a strong plus
  • A team player that is keen to share knowledge and open to feedback
  • Excellent communication skills as persuasion and presentation is an intrinsic part of this role
