about the role
- Oversee all visual merchandising (VM) activities in the region, covering Directly Operated Stores and Wholesale Points of Sale.
- Collaborate with store and retail management to plan and execute in-store merchandising for seasonal collections and End-of-Season (EOS) periods.
- Manage and uphold in-store fittings, layouts, mannequins, windows and other necessary areas.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor and communicate effectively with store and VM management.
- Ensure proper management of VM/reserve areas and physical stock in compliance with local policies and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Coordinate and administer scheduled logistical deliveries, as well as the implementation of VM props and elements.
- Evaluate VM activities and ensure tailored communication of international and localized strategies.
- Liaise directly with Regional VM management to develop best practices and provide feedback on VM activities in aligned stores.
- Educate Store Retail Teams on Best Practice merchandising following company directives, modeling this in-store and through practical execution.
- Train and develop team members in VM Model Store, including merchandise management and operations.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or an equivalent field
- Proven Visual Merchandising experience in the fashion industry (1-2 years)
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to workflow and hours on an ad hoc basis.
