about the job
This role will be directly reporting to the Project Manager and is responsible for managing the full project execution of Electrical Vehicle (EV) chargers across various regions in Singapore in terms of schedule and quality. With strong project planning and time management skills, you will be overseeing a team of technical officers and contractors.
About job responsibilities
- Manage the deployment of EV charger network in terms of project scope, cost, schedule and quality of work from initial site preparation stage till complete handover to clients
- Work with agencies, clients and contractors to resolve technical issues prior to construction
- Planning, cost control, work measurement and collection of performance data such as status of EV charger deployment, installed and commissioned quantities and progress measurement
- Manage technical officers and contractors in the deployment of EV chargers, and ensuring work is carried out according to requirements
- Ensure that the works are carried out in a timely manner according to the approved plans, quality procedures and safety requirements
- Provide regular progress update reports to management
- Support the maintenance team by carrying out standby duties
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management where necessary
skills & experience required
You are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements
- Possess a degree in civil/electrical engineering disciplines from a recognized institution, preferably with 4 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
- Able to work with team on complex project risk assessment issues, manage conflicts and provide resolution using a combination of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with electrical one line drawings and site layout plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
- Preferably possess own vehicle
