Our client is a prestigious UK company with offices all around the world.

The Service Desk Analyst will be sole contributor role, supporting their global offices.



about the job

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the globe including the Singapore office.

You will deliver exceptional customer service.

You will be required to:

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd-line support effectively and in accordance with SLAs, standards and processes, working remotely and face-to-face with business users.
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems, or carry out any requests for service
  • Work with other IT Service Desk staff and Infrastructure, Application and Database Support teams effectively to ensure that excellent end-to-end IT services are provided

This is a permanent role.



skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Service Desk experience
  • Experience of using call logging software for workflow processing around Incidents, Service requests, Change requests etc. (LANDESK Service Desk experience advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/12)
  • Mobile device management experience (MobileIron, Wandera, iPhone environment)
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (WAN, LAN, TCPIP, DNS, DHCP etc.) essential
  • Hands-on experience of using Citrix, Exchange, Bomgar, Remote Desktop and LANDESK advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory essential
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
