Our client is a global technology and engineering company focused on helping manufacturers automate and optimize their production processes. This renowned leader is now looking for a Senior/Service Engineer experienced in setting up laboratories to join their team during an exciting time in their development.
What you will be here for
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory
- To support instruments (pressure, temperature) calibrations in laboratory and onsite calibration independently and when required
- Lead a team of calibration technicians/engineers for lab/onsite ISO-17025 calibration jobs.
- Calibration of pressure, temperature, pH and instruments in laboratory and customer sites.
- Familiar with CMC table and able to calculate CMC and uncertainties for pressure and temperature.
- To Plan for and work towards Laboratory ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation with shorter timeline.
- Monitor and achieve laboratory quality metrics for all calibration works.
- To communicate and effectively explain calibration related issues to customers and internal team promptly.
- Schedule, perform, review, and manage internal & external audits based on ISO-17025 requirements.
- Scheduling of proficiency testing and internal audits.
- Review and update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements.
- Reports & records issued in clear, concise, and timely manner.
- Responsible for smooth operation of the laboratory waste disposal and laboratory housekeeping.
What you will need
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or Science.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 & ISO 9001: 2015 requirements.
- Minimum 3-5 years of calibration laboratory working experience in pressure, temperature, pH testing methods.
