• Support Pre-Fixtures and Post-Fixture job
• Appoint and coordinate with external parties such as Port Agents, Ship's Masters, Cargo Surveyors and Charterer throughout the shipment process
• Coordinate and follow-up with Ship’s Masters, Cargo Surveyors and Agency House to diligently monitor and supervise Cargo Load /Discharge operations and to finalise necessary documents.
• Documents and status checking on daily basis, laytime calculations, insurance and funding
• Audit PDA with services obtained from the Port Agent/s and follow-up for Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) with Actual Bills etc, and arrange payment/ claim.
• Coordinate with owners to obtain Letter of Indemnity (LOI) in absence of Original Bills of Lading for discharge, or change of delivery port etc.

skills and experience required

• Diploma certification and above, related study in marine will be an added advantage
• Min 2-3 years of shipping experience in commodities firms or shipping company
• Ability to multi-task, prioritising work load and communicate with various stakeholders
• Organised and detail oriented
• Able to attend to ad-hoc issue outside official business hours as the role may require coordination outside Asian time zone
