• Responsible for circuit topology, component selection, PCB design, prototyping
• Conduct analysis for design cost reduction
• Writes specifications and documentation for new designs
• Design, develop, prototype, and test of the required subsystem and its interface to the system
• Multilayer PCB design and verification using Altium Designer
• Development of power electronics and controls for motors, actuators, and transducer
• Work from preliminary schematics, prototypes, parts lists, basic description of PCB functions, configuration as well as schematics captured from napkin drawings
• Optimize product design to reduce cost of manufacturing & suitable for DFM
• Build prototypes and conduct full PDLC (from schematic design to product launch)

Jobs requirement

• Master / Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years in develop, optimize designs for analogue and digital mixed circuit design, microcontroller and embedded system for electro-mechanical system
• Hands on with PCB / PCBA & circuit designing
• Experience with microcontrollers and firmware programming using C
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (such as Altium, SolidWorks Electrical etc), in creating electrical schematic, cabling drawings, PCBA
• Knowledge on VME, PCIe, RS485, Ethernet, LVDS, and Serdes is a plus.
• Ability to apply design/development tools as required (FMEA, 8D Methodology,etc)
• Project Management experience will be a plus
• Experience with FPGAs and HDL
