about the job
- Assist in identifying opportunities / assets for development
- Work with the BD team to acquire new assets and win new portfolio business in the region by assisting with asset bids, negotiations, presentations and proposals
- Conduct market research, individual asset & portfolio research; contact agents, managers and owners with site visits where necessary to scope preliminary data
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s portfolio and working knowledge of competitor products/services
- Ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that are consistent with the company’s goals and financial-cost improvement plans
skills & experience required
- Degree / Diploma in enigneering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of sales business development experience (100% Hunter role - pre sales to post sales)
- Knowledge of industrial air-conditioning terms and equipment will be a plus
- Experience bringing in business - portfolio of more than $5M / project will be a plus
- Excellent in managing stakeholders
- Willing to overses for work assignment (about 15%)
- Fine to start off as an individual contributor
