about the job
... - Prepare both structural requirements and structural drawings
- Support the BIM modellers and drafters in ensuring that the drawings and models adhere to the design and specifications
- Provide technical and design inputs with PM to maintain the level of work quality at the desired level
- Conduct engineering analysis to determine the stability and load that the structures can support
- Design and analysis of marine structures (including some geotechnical affinities, reinforced concrete, steel design, ship-shore design, etc.)
- Conduct engineering design per the Industry Standards and within the agreed boundaries of quality, schedule and costs
- Provide technical guidance and foster a culture that values teamwork
- Lead junior engineers in conducting design and obtaining approval from all necessary parties and authorities
- Ad-hoc duties
skills & experience required
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering focusing on structural engineering and affinity with coastal and geotechnical engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Civil / Structural Engineering Industry
- Excellent technical and project management skills
