Our client, the world’s largest geotechnical specialist contractor, is looking for a Design Managerfor their Singapore office. 5 days work/week with 21 days annual leave, our client pays performance bonuses annually. about the job

• Participate in the tender process
• Propose geotechnical solutions to address different clients’ needs
• Ensure the design process in compliance with current legislation, standards and codes of practice
• Ensure the design information is of the right quality and keep pace with project timeline
• Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during the construction process
• Review with the Business Development team on project closing reports and develop future improvement plans / strategies to reduce risk(s)
• Propose Design &Build geotechnical solutions, including solutions for ground improvement where relevant

skills & experience required

• PhD / Msc / Degree in Geotechnical / Civil Engineering
• PE certified will be a plus
• Min 8 years’ experience in a geotechnical design role in the construction industry
• Experience with PLAXIS will be advantageous
• Deep understanding about soil mixing / reclamation
