  • Managing API integrations with disparate systems and ensuring that the various data sources are abstracted and unified for the mobile app’s consumption.
  • Pulling together and building multiple APIs to deliver simple, elegant and functional features using a variety of technologies and tools such as Swagger, API gateway, JS, React, NodeJS and/or Golang amongst others.
  • Have a voice in all our design and implementation discussion across the entirety of our stack from the front-end to the back-end.
  • Help build an engineering culture that enables automated testing and CI/CD to production in a collaborative manner.
  • Update and maintain internal source control and documentation standards.
  • Preparing environment for audits and VAPT testing.
  • Manage API and platform versioning.

skills and requirements

  • B.Tech. or B.Eng. in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
  • Demonstrable AWS (Lambda) and DevSecOps skills.
  • Experience with NodeJS and ReactJS is essential; React Native skills are desired.
  • A deep understanding of OOP concepts, MVC frameworks and API consumption (REST, XML feeds, SOAP) is essential.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with AWS components such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, ELB, Route53, SNS and API gateway others. An AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in version control systems.
  • (Plus point) Working knowledge of iOS and Android development standards and environment.
