About the company

Our client is a market leader within their industry. With massive expansion plan in Asia, they are recruiting a new Software Test Engineer/ Software QA Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Works with the end users, Business Analysts (BAs), Designers and Development Team to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify software defects in each software iteration through a combination of manual black box/ white box tests and a thorough review of relevant content and display attributes
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
• Ensuring quality and the design of software testing and improvements to maintain the business reliability. This includes ensuring the validity of all testing artefacts required. Isolate, track and verify defects
• Coordinates with the Agile/scrum team and development counterparts in overseeing bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation and release
• Works with the Development Team and users to ensure complete and thorough execution of SIT, UAT and regression testings.
• Raise awareness, adoption and integration of QA process and automation in project development life cycle.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 3 year of experience in Software Test/ QA. Proven track record in black box and white-box security testing will be highly preferred.

Caniddates with exposure to engaging with cross functional team will be of added advantage.
