Our client is a boutique IT consultancy firm that advises and assist clients in their digital transformation journey. They develop enterprise solutions to aid organisations in their automation and digital transformation of their business. They are looking to grow their Asia business and are looking for a business development executive / manager to join them.

about the job

As part of their business development team, you will be generating sales for a portfolio of accounts and work towards reaching the company's revenue targets. The role affords a hybrid sales methodology of both hunting and farming where you will be given the opportunity to identify new clients to target, but also to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling. As part of an organisation that is in the growth stage, you can expect your inputs and efforts to have a real and measurable impact on the company's vision and objectives.

  • Identify and develop strategic enterprise accounts that require IT software solutions to aid their digital transformation process
  • Prospect enterprises through software solution selling
  • Achieve sales revenue targets through servicing of new customers and existing clients
  • Key Accounts servicing
  • Participation in commercial tenders including presentations, negotiations and preparation of proposals
  • Cold Calling and generation of new business / accounts
skills & experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce or any related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B / enterprise solution sales within the technology / IT industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management, presentations and reporting
  • Self-starter with a keen interest in networking and building new business opportunities
  • Be able to understand technologies well
  • Be willing to pick up new technologies quickly and independently
