About the job
Reporting to the CIO, your role involves:
- Owning the Cloud Architecture solution and driving high quality solution designs which are resilient, robust, and scalable
- Leading decision-making process around technology strategy, conduct analysis on technical viability of solutions and provide guidance on delivery of complex projects.
- Assessing, reviewing, testing and implementing various architectures and design patterns and work with the delivery teams to ensure alignment to the architecture.
- Engaging with internal customers and analysing their requirements. Architects and design solutions based on the requirements and justify technically the design considerations between the different available technologies.
- Aligning to the DevOps principles and toolsets being established with high degrees of automation throughout the development process. Continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous operational monitoring are baseline goals.
- Ensuring the business growth plan is supported by relevant technologies and subjected to compliance/governance. This includes managing budget/resources, ensuring that appropriate resources are assigned to key project initiatives.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in Cloud / Microsoft Azure
- Experience/knowledge with 3rd party integration is highly preferred
- Candidates with solution architecture experience will be required for this role.
- Experience/knowledge in Devops or Microservices is highly preferred.
