Our client is an established end user company. With plans to expand their existing payments / fintech and digitalisation footprint, they are now hiring a Solution Architect (Cloud / Devops, Payments / Internet / Fintech) here in Singapore.


About the job

Reporting directly to the CTO, this role involves:

• Designing the overall solution architecture for the IT (Cloud, DevOps, Agile, Data, API, Microservices) ecosystem.
• Selecting the most architecturally sound combination of software (solutions, products, and services) to deliver to the business needs or to address business challenges/issues.
• Responsible for advising external partner clients on technical solutioning optimizations of integrations of the mobile platform..
• Analyse the business technology needs and translate these needs into system and architecture requirements to ensure the business needs and requirements can be met by the architecture design
• Evaluating and recommending the use of leading edge technologies by considering their practicality and criticality
• Responsible for managing Customer and Vendor communication, give documented and clear requirements and review design proposals from vendors.
• Manage Stakeholders and Project Management expectations and through clear communication of system/solution capabilities and limitations and possible solutions.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have:

• At least 15 years of experience in IT industry with at least 10 years of relevant in solution/system design, development, implementation of wide range of IT applications (Cloud, DevOps, Data, API, Microservices).
• Come from a background of product or technical solution architect.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in full stack development.
• Proven track record of having engaged with key business stakeholders is required for this role.
• Strong knowledge in DevOps and CI / CD practices
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based technology and deployment architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates with payments or ecommerce industry background will be of an added advantage.
