about the job

  • To provide statistical inputs for designing and planning of observational or non-interventional studies, review statistical documents and participate in the interpretation of study results.
  • Participate in publication preparation, which involves exploratory statistical analyses of a diverse range of study data and, where appropriate, research in new epidemiologic statistical methodologies.
  • Generate comparative evidence by performing a systematic literature review, meta-analysis and/or network meta-analysis. You will support drug reimbursement and/or health technology assessment (HTA) submission by performing cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) or budget impact analysis (BIA)
  • To be working in close collaboration with fellow Statisticians, Epidemiologists, Health Economists, Medical Advisors, Market Access colleagues and other Specialists in headquarters, exerting your expertise in HEOR & RWE. Together with your fellow Statisticians, you keep abreast of current practices in pharmaceutical R&D and state-of-the-art statistical methodology.

We offer you the opportunity to apply your statistical and economic modelling skills in drug development while gaining international experience through daily collaboration in a global environment. You will have the opportunity to handle studies which are intended for drug reimbursement or HTA submission in Asia, Europe and/or the United States.

about the manager/team
You will report to the Director of Biometrics and Medical Writing and be part of a highly skilled team of statisticians

skills and experience required

  • Masters or PhD in Statistics
  • Minimum 1 year of experience n Health Economics or drug development
  • Good knowledge of R or SAS programming language
  • Experience in epidemiology research and/or in health economic modelling
  • Good team player, proactive & good communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken or written English
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is an advantage (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)
  • Experienced candidates will be considered for a senior position
