about the job
As a crucial member of the Network Strategy team within the Supply Chain Development & Analytics department, your contributions will play a pivotal role in the team's growth and success. This position involves actively shaping the Group's mid to long-term Supply Chain development plan from its early stages. Furthermore, in the long run, you will be instrumental in developing customized and innovative supply chain solutions for both internal and external customers while fostering partnerships with stakeholders.
key responsibilities
- Drive Supply Chain Optimization projects, encompassing the development, planning, prioritization, and execution of supply chain strategies, network design workstreams, cost optimization initiatives, and end-to-end supply chain metrics.
- Conduct research and analyses to map out the existing supply chain network, understanding business needs by engaging internal stakeholders within FPG/Supply Chain BU, and translating them into network design requirements.
- Analyze distribution center operational performance, enabling operations stakeholders to track and achieve KPIs, including service level, manpower productivity, capacity utilization, and costs-to-serve.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal stakeholders at all levels within FPG Supply Chain BU and other relevant departments, presenting data-driven insights to senior stakeholders and providing recommendations for success.
- Work with the Supply Chain Business Insights team to develop data-driven models, visualizations, and analytics to address various supply chain challenges and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the execution of project implementation plans and milestones, partnering with the Supply Chain Business Insights team to develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to track actual cost savings after deployment, ensuring alignment with overall company and business group strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement.
- Facilitate efficient communication across functional teams, providing clear and concise insights on trends, drivers, and takeaways.
relevant knowledge and experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in supply chain network design and optimization, program management, and/or supply chain/logistics management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in overseeing supply chain or inventory optimization and/or performance management.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain, particularly within the retail/eCommerce/FMCG industries.
- Familiarity with methods/work study and other performance analysis methodologies.
- Analytical proficiency, capable of working with large datasets, including specific expertise in Supply Chain Network Modeling, BI tools, data visualization, relational data structures, and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming systems, and hands-on experience with Cloud-based tools/technology would be advantageous for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective communication of technical solutions, driving objective achievement, and collaborating efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities, with the capacity to convert analyses into actionable business insights for decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and exhibit effective change management skills.
