My client in the construction industry is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead their Supply Chain team.

about the job

As a Supply Chain Manager (construction) your key tasks involve:

  • leading the supply chain team in the following areas - Order processing, Purchasing, Shipping, and Warranty/Defects management
  • negotiating contracts and formulating policies with all suppliers
  • managing day-to-day purchasing activities and coordinate all procurement and sourcing related duties
  • working closely with freight forwarders and transportation companies in setting best routes and rates
  • fostering good working relationship with sales and project team to ensure timely completion
  • resolving all material defects during the warranty period in ensuring client's satisfaction

skills & experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience within the Construction industry
