about the job

This crucial appointment will entail the following responsibilities:

  • End to end supply chain projects & operations in which he or she will need to oversee change management, process improvement and timelines not to mention ensure cost centre efficiency to maximize resources

  • Sit in a consultative position and provide strategic decisions and action plans for the region

  • Be involved commercially in post ERP implementation exercises in terms of education and setup training materials for new/existing users across the ASEAN region

  • Work closely with customer service teams and ensure high level of customer satisfaction

  • Have a thorough understanding in end to end supply chain operations in both local and overseas market whereby effective management of suppliers, logistics channels, vendors, forecast, inventory planning i.e S&OP order fulfilment, warehousing, sourcing & procurement

  • Take an active role in the ASEAN management team to support a profitable growth in the region and develop supply chain capabilities based on high influx of operations in the region

  • Drive and implement local market KPI’s, planning systems relevant to the complete supply chain spectrum in conjunction with managers in order to cultivate a culture of excellence

  • Hands on in project deployments, tender management & product development time-lines

about the manager/team

Reporting in to the Global Supply Chain business and senior management team, you will potentially work in a matrix team of professional priding strong team focus and open communications. In addition, you will be part of an organization that prides company values and culture

skills and experience required

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Supply Chain or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a supply chain position in an international corporate organisation and at least 2 years experience in project management

  • Lean Six Sigma belt qualifications, SAP, Naviation or PMP exposure would be a plus

  • Experience from pharmaceutical/medical device/health care industry would be of added advantage

  • Process driven, high level of integrity that prides dedication, commitment and teamwork mindset

  • Able to portray project leadership, budgeting, strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and customer centric

  • Open to travel for business requirements
