    As a result of ongoing and continued successes both within Singapore and internationally, a global leader is recruiting a potential Supply Chain Specialist APAC to join them in their expansion.

    about the job

    • Support the Logistics strategy with the overall business goals and objectives, keeping balance between costs and service level.
    • Maintain and enhance Logistics KPIs and trend analysis to support the organization to drive improvements in cost and performance.
    • Work closely with the Global Logistics Analyst on KPIs, reporting and projects as needed.
    • Responsible for continuous improvements and lead initiatives relating to logistics, as directed by Supply Chain APAC Lead.
    • Provide support for Logistics transportation and warehouse supplier RFQs and contract negotiation.
    • Coordinate special shipments as needed: freight quotes, insurance, equipment, timing, for non-SAP shipments.
    • Provide support on tariff classification, customs procedures, trade compliance and free trade agreements.
    • Provide operational oversight and monitoring of logistics service providers (warehouses and carriers) for APAC logistics.
    • Analyze customer order data and work with customer service and commercial teams to improve performance and processes.
    • Analyze carrier data and look for areas of efficiency gains utilizing the right carrier for regional and national shipments.
    • Validate freight invoices and monitor logistics spend against budget.
    • Manages customer complaints related to deliveries and logistics, ensuring response and resolution within customer time frame expected.
    • Drive root cause investigation and implement effective CAPA to address logistics performance issues.
    • Management of stock levels in assigned warehoue locations (using MRP, inventory report, inventory repositioning, working with Customer Service, Commercial, Marketing etc. to avoid obsolescence and to manage spikes in demand etc.) in accordance to inventory target
    • Manage and own the parameters in SAP that impact the MRP process
    • Manage the phase in/phase out of products with Marketing & Commercial
    • Participate in monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings and work with supply plant on the major changes and allocation process
    • KPI reporting – monthly inventory and aging report, logistics KPI report, and other reports as assigned

    skills & experience required

    To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

    • Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain
    • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, preferably in Medical Device industry.
    • SAP system expertise preferred.
    • Data analytics and inventory planning experience preferred.
