Our Client is a market leader within the Medical Devices industry. They have a strong history of more than 50 years with a global presence. They are currently hiring a permanent position of a System Analyst (MES, JDEdwards) as an integral part of their expansion plans.


About the job

Reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager, your responsibilities will involve mainly:

• Serving as the vital link in the manufacturing function, representing IT for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) translating user requirements and customer business needs into fully-traceable and scalable MES solutions.

• Conducting application testing including Performance Qualification to verify requirements are met.
• Providing support to Customized Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and extracting data and data curation for end users.
• Using business process modelling to implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy for MES
• Engaging key business stakeholders which includes gathering requirements and translating them into functional specification across Asia
• Driving project implementation which includes progress reporting and external vendor management
• Managing external vendors, ensuring that SLA has been adhered to

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have:

• At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• At least 3 years experience in engaging external vendors or business stakeholders directly
• Good experience in gathering business/user requirements and translating them to scalable MES Solutions.
• Candidates with exposure to ERP JDEdwards will be of added advantage.
• Proven track record in working with end user environment within the manufacturing industry will be highly preferred.
