Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple IT system vendors to ensure they deliver services in accordance with contractual terms and deliverables.
- Collaborate with IT vendors to investigate and resolve user-reported issues.
- Monitor the service level of IT vendors and maintain IT operations documentation, including system capacity reviews and daily health monitoring.
- Develop a methodical approach to monitor system issues and provide root-cause analysis, including Severity 1/2 occurrences and system slowness.
- Provide insights based on issue analysis and recommend system enhancements, preventive solutions, or third-party tools to ensure optimal system performance.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to implement or pilot system enhancements or solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely deployment of change requests delivered by IT vendors, including testing and alignment to specifications.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with internal business units such as Programme Teams, Finance Team, etc., for system change requests to elicit business needs and develop an appropriate business case for digitalization.
- Plan, design, and facilitate requirement gathering workshops with business users.
- Consolidate and analyse workshop inputs by business users to form recommendations.
- Provide support to business users in developing system requirements, specifically in the areas of functional/technical specifications.
- Recommend suitable technology aligned to the business needs of the organization.
- Overall, this role involves managing IT vendors, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement system enhancements. Additionally, the role involves partnering with internal business units to elicit business needs and develop appropriate digitalization solutions.
skills and experience required
Successful candidate who has at least 3 years of experience in managing the integration of multiple IT systems across multiple vendors. Experience in implementing ERP and/or CRM solutions. Knowledge in application or infrastructure monitoring tools would also be advantageous.
