My client is a global market leader in the Aerospace industry. With rapid expansion plans, they are hiring a newly created permanent role of a Systems Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity (permanent) to work in the Middle East for 3-6 months to broaden your horizons before returning to Singapore to work permanently. This will add tremendous value to your profile. The company will provide accommodation and additional allowances.

Your role involves:

- Perform requirements gathering to translate user’s requirement into practical design objectives or specification
- Design and develop new system to support user’s requirement
- Work with software, hardware and mechanical team to assess requirement feasibilities, propose alternatives and present the solution to users
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of hardware and software developed by various team members, allowing the development of solutions at the system level
- Liaise with users, software, hardware and mechanical team to define design specifications and provide application support
- Review software, hardware and mechanical design architecture and technical documents for peripheral sub-systems
- Generate and maintain project documents including requirements, test plans, procedures and reports
- Perform system integration and testing

- Open to fresh graduates candidates with no prior or little experience
Good to have any of the below (not mandatory):
- Good understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Good understanding of networking protocols such as OSPF, PIM, IP MULTICAST, QoS, GRE)
- Hand-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, network analytics and automation tools
- Experience with Microsoft Server family, Active Directory Domain controller
- Experience with RedHat/Centos/Ubuntu Linux Distributions
- Experience with VMware virtualization
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Ansible. Bash/Python scripting abilities
- Experience with Kubernetes containers Orchestration Platform
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, etc
