about the job
In this role, you will be focused on providing administrative support to the team, such as travel arrangements, visa applications, expense processing and submission, as well as preparation and distribution of meeting materials, including presentation decks for weekly meetings. You will need to help with setting up in-person meetings and conference calls, and manage onboarding processes for the team, from preparing work spaces, laptops, access passes, and coordinating training programs for new joiners in the team. The maintenance of databases, spreadsheets and reports, and updating of internal IT systems, will also fall under your care as the Team Admin.
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the Head of Department and will need to provide coverage for your counterpart in Hong Kong.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a team administrative / secretarial role, preferably from the banking and financial services industry. You will need to be fluent and conversant in Mandarin to liaise with clients from Chinese-speaking countries, including China and Taiwan, and to help with translation work for the team (English to Mandarin / vice versa). Being detail-oriented and well organised will help you to succeed in this role.
