At the forefront of modern security technologies, my client is seeking an Technical Support Engineer to join the team.

This is an opportunity with a sophisticated MNC that specializes in Artificial Intelligence.



about the job

In this role, you will be required to be involved in Level 2 support:

  • Analyse, Troubleshoot, solve assigned tickets by the Technical Support Manager escalated by Support Level Formalize corrective action plans or local workaround within the SLA.
  • Solve or escalate the analysis to the Level 3 support Corrective Maintenance team
  • Delivered maintenance documentation, operation manual, test procedures and test reports.
  • Definition of the integration platform & Installation of the system on it: Windows PC (Windows 7 or 10, Windows 2012/18 Server), Linux Servers, Specific devices such as biometric sensors, Databases on Oracle, Complex software modules developed by IDEMIA and Network and security components (firewall, router).
  • Perform system integration test, system validation test, load and performance test, and high availability test.
  • Investigate on the issues by analysing logs during test execution, report incidents through configuration management tool and monitor them until closure.

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related fields
  • Min 3 years experience in system implementation and technical support
  • Min 3 years experience on multi OS platform installation such as LINUX / Windows Servers
  • Strong in Scripting (Perl, Bash, Power shell, python) and Database (Oracle or SQL server)
  • Strong in network domains (TCP/IP, HTTP) and security (TLS, WSS, PKI) is preferred.
  • Experience in maintaining IBM/HP Servers, SAN and PC servers.
  • Experience in VMware ESXI server (administration & Troubleshooting)
  • Knowledgeable of troubleshooting and debugging live software systems.
  • Energetic, positive, proactive person with a high level of self-motivation
  • Passionate about Artificial intelligence or security solutions will be a plus
