    A fast-growing multinational biotechnology corporation, with over 20 years of experience in molecular biology and biochemistry research, is looking for a technical application specialist.

    about the job

    • Provide technical support services for researchers via phone and email to ensure customers' satisfaction and promote loyalty
    • Troubleshoot for immunoassay-based applications and other protein related reagents and consumables
    • Represent the company at commercial events by giving booth tech talks or live webinars
    • Curate and publish product reviews submitted by customers
    • Support the sales and marketing departments through sales mini teams, large volume product recommendations, passing leads and nurturing key accounts


    about the manager/team

    You will report to the technical support manager and work closely with other technical support specialists to ensure customers' satisfaction in APAC region.

    skills and experience required

    Minimum M.Sc in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or related fields. PhD is highly desired.

    Hands-on experience in immuno-assay development and/or protein detection and analysis.
    Minimum 1 year of experience in life sciences industry with customer-facing responsibility is strongly preferred.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Working proficiency in Japanese language is desired to effectively liaise with clients from Japan who can only communicate in the Japanese language.

    Able to commit to overseas travelling within the APAC region.
