    Headquartered in France, my client is a IT Service and Consulting MNC which specialises in high-tech transactional services, unified communications, cloud, big data and cybersecurity services.

    Due to expansion plans, they are looking to hire a Technical Architect (Opentext) to join the company. This will begin as an Individual Contributor role, with plans for this employee to lead a team in the near future.


    about the job

    • Lead the design and architecture of any OpenText ECM project implementation, and defining the technical solutions of any OpenText bid/ opportunities.
    • Key presenter for OpenText proposals or technical solution discussions
    • Mentor for technical team for OpenText project implementation
    • Meet with customer key stakeholders to gather and clarify user key requirements, analysing user requirements and performing estimations.
    • Review and ensure quality of project deliverables
    • Demo project/ product releases to key stakeholders
    • Participate in defining technical direction and solution strategy


    skills and experience required

    • Minimally Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
    • Minimally 8-10 years of working experience in design and architecture of OpenText ECM project implementation
    • Minimally 5 years of working experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies
    • Experienced in UNIX/ Windows environment
    • Experienced in various database systems
    • OpenText certified
    • Good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as a team player
