about the job

You will report to your Global Service Director, and be responsible for technical support provided across Asia Pacific region. You will educate, train, and manage your team of Service Engineers and distributors, to ensure a consistent service branding that quality service is always provided to end-customers regardless of their location. You will:

  • Lead a team of Regional Field Service Engineers based in multiple countries across APAC region
  • Directly provide technical support to distributors and end-users in South-east Asia countries
  • Take P&L responsibilities for Service Contract sales and delivery
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical support when a user challenge is escalated from distributors
  • Conduct trainings for distributors to improve their technical capacity on a regular basis
  • Closely partner with Sales teams to ensure alignment of business goals


skills and experience required

  • Degree or above, in Engineering or Science
  • 5 years+ regional Field Service experience in any Scientific Instrumentation business
  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or managing people in a professional capacity
  • Willingness to travel for up to 40% of the time in Asia Pacific region
