Supported by a robust technology and operational infrastructure, they are committed to the minimization of supply chain risks and optimization of processes to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within their niche industrial specialization. Randstad is currently partnering with them for a newly created position of Technical Support Manager.

about the job

  • Function as the raw material subject matter expert and lead discussions between in-house technical experts and world-wide suppliers pertaining to product quality and supplier capabilities
  • Be involved in the regional supply network planning
  • Continually keep abreast of market information and take risk-mitigation actions that’s detrimental to manufacturing and distribution operations
  • Build and sustain win-win relationships with key suppliers and partner with them from a supply chain and logistics perspective to troubleshoot any issues that may affect lead time
  • Function as the voices of both internal stakeholders and suppliers and ensure communication flow in with regards to raw material quality

skills and experience required

  • Engineering/Chemical Degree with 8 years of experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and effective stakeholder engagement skills are required to drive buy-in
  • High analytical skill sets with project management experience
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin to drive communication with overseas partners
