The role will be to support the Singapore office in all surveillance-related matters.

The incumbent would be required to:

Possess a strong investigative background and mindset and have knowledge of financial market products as well as relevant securities laws
Conduct investigations and escalate sensitive matters when necessary, and take appropriate recourse
Evaluate the efficiency of the trade surveillance process and provide advisory to the business
Actively engage with senior management, regulators and all necessary stakeholders of the business regarding compliance and surveillance matters
Conduct training and provide guidance on surveillance matters
Help to improve the design and perform system enhancements where necessary

skills and experience required

Bachelors degree from a reputable institution
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a surveillance role from a bank or licensed financial institution
Strong analytical thinking and a problem solver
