With plans to expand their UX team, they are now hiring for an exceptionally skilled User Experience Lead with very strong project management and a proven track record.

about the job

  • You will lead the thinking and execution of all User Experience (UX) and Interface design work - iterating on digital experiences across all our screens, informed by continuous testing with internal and external users.
  • Work closely with the engineering, product, marketing and curatorial teams to build the most delightful and inspiring experience for our external (clients) and internal (frontline staff) users.
  • Deliver intuitive and visually compelling designs across all segments.
  • Optimise, optimise, optimise across digital channels for both humans and non-humans (e.g., search engines).
  • Capture multi-disciplinary requirements in workshops with clients and users, and translate them into annotated wireframes, screen-flow diagrams, and complete design compositions.
  • Ensure a consistent, unified look and feel and behaviour across all screens of the organisation.
  • Help product leaders and executive management visualize new product concepts through UI mock-ups and videos.
  • Liaise with UX team members to receive on-going inputs and recommend refinements to client experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships with UX partners and provide support to both BAU and transformational endeavours across the entire delivery cycle from discovery and research, to interaction design, to coding and testing of actual UX.
  • Oversee development of UI pattern library for use across all channel experiences and endeavours.

skills & experience required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in devising Information Architecture for global organisations in multiple geographies.
  • Expertise in producing UI/UX enhancement plans – including competitive analysis, persona development, user journeys, concept modelling, wire framing, and navigation strategy.
  • Proven track record with both interaction and visual design (emphasis on the former).
  • Patience engagement with multiple stakeholders as a design evangelist, educating, persuading, cultivating appreciation of functional but aesthetically pleasing design solutions that lead to client delight and usability of our digital offerings.
  • Familiarity with quick prototyping tools such as Photoshop/Sketch and Invision/Proto.
  • Appreciation of white-spacing, typography, line height, carousels, icons.
  • Ability to project-manage and develop relationships with multiple vendors and third party service providers.
