about the job
based in Singapore, and reporting directly into the Global Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for the global sales and marketing initiatives of the company.

key responsibilities

  • As the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will develop key strategies regionally and globally and act as a key stakeholder between R&D and the customer to ensure technical sales and marketing efforts are focused on the needs and wants of the target market
  • Drive business and commercial growth through sales strategies, product development and consultative solution selling.
  • Conduct market segmentation to better understand the customers and gaps in market so as to position the company focus appropriately to take advantage of opportunities, through a value based selling model
  • You will have a strong appreciation operating within a manufacturer, ensuring sales excellence and performance management
  • Be in charge of the development and delivery of Quarterly presentations to the Board of Directors.

skills and experience required

  • Commercially driven, technically inclined professional with a minimum of 8 years experience in sales/marketing management across the region
  • Highly driven and extroverted personality willing to go the extra mile
  • Relevant technical B2B commercial experience in industries such as raw materials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive or broader industrial products would be an advantage
  • Must possess a strong sense of commercial acumen and have significant experience in driving business/revenue effectively
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distil large amounts of information into concise and impactful presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to be able to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
