Seeking a VP/SVP, Loan Syndication for a growing bank.

about the job

In view of an expansion, the corporate banking team is currently looking for a VP / SVP, Loan Syndications to:

  • Manage and build the loan syndications desk for the bank.
  • Work closely with the coverage bankers and other regional offices in preparing for pitches and participating in meetings with clients to support on origination and distribution.
  • Prepare and review term sheets, and ensure that the entire credit process is prepared and managed well, including documentation.
  • Contribute to the team’s annual budget, including buying and selling in the secondary loans market.
  • Involved in the strategy planning process in relation to loan syndications.
  • Keeping abreast on the market and economic situations to minimize any potential risk whilst capitalising on market opportunities.
  • Maintaining a close liaison with all key stakeholders locally and globally
  • Participating in any business meetings or discussions when necessary.

Reporting to the Head of Syndications, you’ll be part of a bank with growth potential.

skills & experience required

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or comparable
  • Has a minimum of 8 years of loan syndications experience, covering all aspects including origination, structuring and distribution.
  • Proficient in MS Office, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
