about the company My client is a singapore based contract manufacturer.As a result of ongoing and continued success, they are recruiting for talented candidate to join them for their expansion. about the jobIn this position, you are responsible to manage and drive logistics, warehouse operations in an exciting and fast paced environment.

• Develop and Implement inbound/outbound logistics process enhancement through system automation, process improvement
• Manage daily operations to ensure on time delivery to customers
• Design, and set up warehouse operation, in compliance to regulation and safety
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Optimization of space and manpower through in-source/out-source concept to ensure warehouse operation is able to cater for both distributions and production support
• Innovative, and be able to drive warehouse processes in the most cost effective and efficient ways ie. Kanban, VMI
• Leverage on resources available to support both manufacturing and distributions through cross-training and job enhancement
• Interface with all key stakeholders from other department to understand requirements, changing and plan the execution of logistics support

Skills and Requirement

• Bachelor's degree related to Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation / Engineering / Business
• Min 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• SAP implementation and/ or knowledge will be an advantage
• EMS / Contract Manufacturing work experience is a big plus
• Strong in warehouse and operations management
