about the role

At Randstad Singapore, our client solutions team play a prominent role in identifying and penetrating key industry segments and clients to achieve our business growth objectives. Besides developing and managing a network of clients, you’ll also be working with a team of specialised recruitment consultants and drive more cross visits between functional and industry verticals.

You will develop & win key accounts within the respective industries allocated in Singapore providing leadership in:

  • business development and client acquisition
  • key account management
  • developing, supporting and coaching a sales culture

main accountabilities

  • With a specific focus on Singapore accounts - develop key account plans and relationships to contribute positively to the goal of growing the business first in gross profit and secondly in revenue.
  • Execute these plans through client centric account teams for the Operating Company
  • Participate in achieving new business, by identifying and marketing to prospective clients with a focused approach on strategic solution selling
  • Research the competitive landscape and set key strategies for the positioning of Randstad’s service offering based on competitor understanding.
  • Maintain and develop industry networks to ensure a high Randstad profile.
  • Support knowledge sharing and best practices knowledge transfer of Randstad and Global customers into the country organisation to meet customer requirements and standards
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proper communication of opco’s needs
  • Act as the custodian of nominated key accounts
  • Direct & Develop internal sales strategies and components and exhibit

skills and experience

  • 5 + years of experience in either recruitment, sales or business development
  • Experience in the strategic industry an advantage
  • Relevant University Degree
  • Solution or strategic selling expertise preferred
  • High analytical skills
